The Home Owner's Association was formed in 1995 as part of the planned community of Summer Woods. Home values in Summer Woods continue to increase and remain higher than those neighborhoods closely nearby due to the maintenance and protective covenants governing the homes and properties in the neighborhood.

Summer Woods Home Owner's Association is governed by Bylaws and protective covenants, and administered by a volunteer Board of Directors. Home owners residing in the neighborhood are encouraged to volunteer.
